If your vehicle has been damaged in a collision, you want someone who can repair your vehicle back to its original state. Every day collision repair specialists return damaged vehicles to their original condition, structurally and cosmetically. Today’s vehicles are much more complex with high-quality paint finishes. Repair technicians have to be professionally trained to accomplish nearly completely flawless results.
The process begins with damage assessment. Your bring your vehicle to our shop, though in some cases, we will come to you. Damage assessment can sometimes require parts be removed so that we can fully assess the total damage that was done to your automobile. After we are able to determine all of the parts that need to be replaced and the time it will take to replace them and paint them, we can give you an accurate and detailed estimate to complete the work. We work directly with your insurance company if needed to complete the process as quickly and conveniently as possible for you to get you back on the road.
Whenever possible, factory and original parts are repaired and parts damaged beyond repair are replaced. In many cases as you will see from our photographs, our professionally trained technicians can repair pastic and metal so that it can be near impossible to detect any signs damage has occurred. After all repairs are complete, the automobile will likely need painting. The areas to be painted are prepped by sanding, priming, and taping off areas that don't need to be painted.
The painter then uses a paint mixing system to mix the paint that will match your vehicle’s finish. A paint code on your vehicle provides the starting point, but generally requires a trained eye to match the paint to your vehicle. Often, paint will require "blending," a technique used to facilitate matching the color of your car. The paint is sprayed inside a spray booth designed to keep dust and other contaminants off the new finish. After it is complete, buffing and polishing is done to give it that finishing touch.
